They finally did it Monday. They did the wide excision on my calf and removed two lymph nodes -- one from the groin area and the 2nd from my pelvic area.

The biopsy results came in yesterday and I am one lucky cookie considering the melanoma was 2.7 mm -- everything is negative.

Facing this situation has made me take a good look at my life to see if I'm really living it the way I want to. I have lots of plans for lots of things and always thought of myself as being on the "150 year plan". It looks like of I some years left, but maybe not as many as I have always thought. This is an excellent reminder to live each day as though it is my last.

Thats AWESOME that all the results came back negative!! Smile

Must really be a HUGE relief ... I totally understand where you are coming from looking forward & knowing how important it is to live every day that you around in the best possible way you can! As noone knows when there time will be up!!
