I am considering participating in a phase II trial of the Israeli PC anti-angiogenic drug "Hamsa" (an unholy mixture of cyclophosphamide, diclofenac, cimetidine and sulfasolazine!).

I am 74, psa is 45, mets to spine and ribs. I have been on Zoladex, then Lucrin for 7 years. My psa continued to rise despite adding Casodex, which I was on for 2 months.

I tried Ketacanozole, which dropped my psa, but almost slew my liver in the process, so had to stop taking it.

Before starting the trial, is it worth trying the older drug Flutamide as an alternative to the Casodex?

Might Flutamide work as a testosterone blocker where Casodex failed, as PAACT suggest? Or are its side effects and risks too great?
