Do they know where your moms cancer has spread? I am going through the same thing and there are a lot of great people on this forum that can help you.

First of all sit back and breathe, just breathe.

Okay, I know this is scary time for you and your life has changed because of your what's going on with your mother.

For anyone to be able to help you with any questions you have some information would be helpful; such as when was she diagnosed, what exactly was she diagnosed with, what stage, where has it spread, what treatments is she going through, stuff like that. Also what you specifically are worried about, what is the most important thing for you to hear from the forum; answers to questions, being able to vent, helpful resources, etc. are good thing to set down here also (soft smile)

I am sorry to hear she has bowel cancer and it has spread and keep you, her and your family in my prayers and thoughts this day.

Rigid Sigmoidoscopy with a laparoscopic-assisted partial colectemy with en bloc small bowel resection Sep 2008
Diagnosed: Stage IV Colon Cancer mets to lungs and liver. (T3,N2,M1,G2) KRAS Mutation
Started chemotherapy: 09/14/09 Folfox-6 with Avastin then Avastin alone.
Next treatment 03/22/10 Camptosar with Avastin every 2 weeks for 3 months then PET scan
Most recent CEA Level: 03/08/10 79.4 down from 240 on 03/01/10
