Hi All,
I am worried and scared for my mom's sake. She has been off the Tarceva fr eight days. Her nausea and vomitting are increasing. She is weak. She can sit in the same chair for hours. Mom is not sleeping at night. I have a call into the oncologist's nurse to get a prescription for a mild sleeping pill and ask about the nausea and vomiting.

Hi again Kristi,
I posted under your other thread. Any word on the nausea and vomiting from the doc yet? <sigh> Your poor Mom. I hate cancer.
Hugs,

I forgot to post that we did speak with the onc's nurse. As long as the Compazine helps with the nausea and vomiting, she should be OK. Mom tends to get sick first thing in the morning and then again at night. We shall see what the onc says about this. Did this happen with your husband, PBJ?
Thanks,

No Kristi -- he was never nauseated. Took the compazine after each of the chemo infusions for a few days and never had a problem.
His cancer was always about the breathing. Everyone is so different with this crummy disease.
Glad to hear that she can continue with the compazine to keep it under control.

Hi PBJ,
I kn ow everyone is different in how they react to treatment. I did not think anyone had nausea and vomiting after coming off Tarceva. I am getting pretty scared.
