I am a 51 yr/old woman and I had non small cell lung cancer in the upper right lobe. It was diagnosed 4/8/05. The lobe was removed and was shown to be 2 Stage IA's or 1 Stage IB. The lymph nodes were clear. The Chemo Doc says to do Chemo and I am against it. The operation was 4 weeks ago and I have about decided NOT to do the Chemo. What do you think?? Thanks!!!

Get the chemo and eat everything in sight. Be creative; try making sandwiches with pop tarts...

It sounds like you are a in remission. Congratulations if you are. Got any pictures of the scar you would like to share? I showed my scar to a 6-year old kid and he started getting dry heaves like he was going to barf. His mother said to him "What's wrong boy, what's wrong?" and he replied "Don't look maw, don't look. It's the ugliest stomach I've ever seen? I would show you pictures of my scar but you might want to gouge out your eyeballs afterwards.

I started Chemo 6/14/05. Taxol/Carbo. I thought what do I have to lose. 5 more treatments to go. No, You can't see my scar.....Margie50
