From all my reading I've found that melanoma can lead to other forms of cancer (lung, other internal organs etc) but when doing a superficial check on the information available on these other forms of cancer, I have found no link back to melanoma as a secondary.

Here is the reason for my research. I have exactly ZERO of the risk factors for melanoma yet have the Dx. I have several of the risk factors for ovarian and lung cancer. Could melanoma be one of these other forms of cancer that has spread?

Found my own answer from my doc. (for anyone who might also have this question)

Skin melanomas can spread as such but is always a primary.
