Hello everyone! It'snice to be back talking with people that share and care again. I have been patiently and anxiously awaiting the results of my husbands pet scan. He was originally dx with Stage IV esophageal cancer and now also, kidney cancer. All chemo has been stopped until he gets a needle biopsy now on the kidney to determine what type of kidney cancer it is and what the next course of treatment should be. The tumor in the kidney has not repsonded to treatment and the tumor(s) in the espohagas and lymph system haven't grown, but not shrunk either. Anyone have any prior experience with this and can give me a heads up on what may or may not happen now. My husband has gained his weight back and is finally able to eat, and thankfully has not had any nauseua or any real side effects from the Chemo. I wonder if it has been strong enough? Please give me some advise. Thanks again for being there.
