My husband was just diagnosed with SLL/CLL. We are waiting on the PET scan. The oncologist thinks by exam we are only a I or IIA. Any long term survivors of this type of cancer? Will I probably lose him in the next 5-7 years? What does the future hold?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I was told I've had this for at least 20 years and the only symptoms I had were the enlarged lymph nodes. I've had immunotherapy (Rituxan) and they have all shrunken or "disappeared". I'm awaiting my scans in a couple of weeks to see if I'm in remission.
