Hi all, hi Kris.

Just to let you know that mum passed away peacefully this morning. She hung on for so long, not wanting to give up her fight for life. As a family, we are all immensely relieved that she has gone but also terribly sad.

The nurses and other staff at the hospice were amazing, they took care of mums every need, including ours. I cannot praise them enough.

Anyway, thats it.... life goes on. I wish all of you who are still going through this terrible experience all the love in the world. Its a hard, hard journey, but you will come out stronger at the end of it all.

Thankyou to all who have supported me, you gave me alot of strength.

xxxxx Jen.

hello,

I am sorry to hear about your mum. Losing a parent is a life changing experience. my dad died 4 months ago and many changes have occurred since than.

Be strong, stay together as a family and you will be ok.

Continue on this forum and maybe we can help others with our experiences..

Jen,
My heart and thoughts and prayers are with you. I know this is a very hard time. Please come back and let us know how you are doing. I know your feeling of relief and sadness. I think we almost all felt that way. Don't let it make you feel guilty for being relieved. I went through that for a while. It wasn't that I didn't want my dad to have a longer life, but I didn't want him to have to continue to suffer without any hope.

Michele

Thankyou all for your very kind words.

Mums funeral is on Tuesday, I know this will be the hardest day of all. But afterwards, all the family will do what mum would have wanted most, to get on and enjoy life to the full.

My heart goes out to you still facing your journey with Brain Tumours, either your own or a dear family members.

To the rest who have seen the passing of your loved one, I send my warmest love, I hope your pain is easing and you are learning to smile again. Sorry if I sound dippy! I know what I mean lol. I will stay in touch via this forum, its been a Godsend to me during my darkest hours.

Love to everyone xxxx Jen
