A search of Pubmed only showed one article about how it can be used as an anti-nausea agent. With a lack of research, it's difficult to say about any benefits or potential harm. Always inform your medical team about any new medications.

Sincerely,

Found another article discussing aloe juice being able to prevent metastasis. But again, very little research available.

Hi,

I have seen aloe based products work anecodotally.
Have you had any luck with your quest?

There are many articles (on pubmed also) about pure Whole Leaf Aloe Vera and anti-tumor properties. Aloe Vera is a polysaccheride and polysaccherides have anti-tumor properties. I've pulled up many many promising articles when I searched.

I take approx. 4 ounces daily.

the active ingredient of aloevera is poly-mannose, a very important sugar for cell to cell communication. Unfortunately it doesn't survive long outside the living plant and needs to be absorbed fresh. Most aloevera products do not consider this...hence the low success rate.

There are also 7 more 'mono-sacharides' essential for immune/ cell communication. If some of them are missing our health is at risk. Rather than just using one almost dead glyco nutrient (from aloe) I would rather go for a supplement that contains all eight sugars. The only one there is, uses a special instant freeze-drying technology to make the poly-mannose last for several years.

Have a read on www.glyco.com/torben - I'm not mentioning any companies nor products there, but you can learn about this very promising nobel price technology.

Kind regards, torben
