Any advice or your thoughts on what you think please

Hi,

I am new to the forums and was looking things up on the net for how i have been feeling and what symptoms i have. I am planning on a appointment to the doctors sometime this week hopefully tomorrow.

I will try to explain how i have been feeling.

I always feel tired (like no energy) even when i have just woken..i feel so drained at times you would think i have not had sleep in a month

This has started now for about 3 weeks and it seems worse at night time but i get real hot sweats that sometimes only last a few minutes sometimes a lot longer.

It's been about 1 week now since i also started with a niggling cough...nothing major just one that niggles me and still having the sweating. Both the sides of my rib cage hurt if i put pressure with my finger on them.

I just cannot stop itching it is so bad i feel like digging under my skin sometimes to stop it. My forehead back of my neck my whole scalp i could just keep itching non stop. ( the itching has been going much longer than many of the recent symptoms which i put down to maybe a skin problem..I even keep trying new shampoos to see if it will stop the itching just for my scalp but nothing works)

I had also had very bad stomach pains is all i can describe and my stomach seems to swell and sometimes looks like a hard football. Now also since the cough last week when it started i have been feeling sickly nauseous and not really fancied anything to eat and so far have lost nearly a stone in weight in just under a week.

I was giving it a bit longer to see if things would just go by themselves but then tonight i also started with stabbing pains in my neck on my left side seems to be right between my collar bone. When that happens the sweating comes on more and i feel like i am burning up.

Anyway as i was saying i am pleased i found this forum and i do hope i have nothing like what this forum is a bout and i do sympathize with you all here who do. It's just it seemed the right place to post this as it seems a lot of the symptoms you can get with what this forum is about.

Thanks for listening and any advice you give. if you think i am over reacting and should leave it a while longer to see if it is just an infections.

my advice- although those are common symptoms for alotta things, just go get it checked out. after going through cancer, if i have any symptoms i just let my doctor know. after all she is a doctor. that might be just me cuz i went through cancer and might be a lil paranoid after it. but it doesnt hurt to get it checked out.

You do have a lot of similar symptoms of lymphoma but not usually pain in the lymph nodes. But you have lymph nodes every where. If I were you I would not wait a minute longer to go to my doctor. My daugher has hodgkins lymphoma and all she had was swollen lymph nodes and a cough.

SOOOOO go see your doctor soon.

You should go to the doctor. I am 13 years old so I thought I was to young for cancer but I went in on Saturday for cough and had biopsy that afternoon of lymph node on neck and above collarbone. I found out today I have hodgkins lymphoma stage 4b. Not to worry you as it is probably just an infection but you should get it checked so you can have whatever it is treated early.
