My brother has stage IV cancer of the esophaegus and has had to take nutrition through a feeding tube. Whatever the liquid nutrition is that he is getting causes diarrea, as fast as it goes in, it comes out the other end. Has anyone had this experience? He's in MA and I'm in Florida, so it is very hard on me to know how I can help him. I want to go to MA to be with him, but until then need to know how long he can survive having constant diarrea, he has lost a lot of weight and can't be getting any nutritional value from the liquid if he can't keep it in his stomach long enough to digest. I'm worried sick about him.
