Dear Tsmorris,
I am so very sorry to hear about your GBMIV. So many very hard decisions to be made for you regarding your treatment. I do hope you have strong support from family & friends. I would hate to think you're going it alone!
My brother has GBMIV & is undergoing his 3rd lot of brain surgery tomorrow. He was diagnosed in Feb 07. He's been on Temodal/Temodar since his diagnosis. He had a brief period (2 months) of no real growth but last week discovered 2 small tumours had quadrupled in size in 2 months. He just wants to get the tumours removed, this will give him more time. We don't know how much?
I have found this forum to be most supportive & comforting as a relative of a brain cancer sufferer. There are many people on this forum who will offer you support & even stories of their own experiences with cancer themselves or as a carer for a loved one.
Keep watching this forum & may I offer you God's blessing & strength in the hard decisions you will be making for yourself in regard to treatment for this terrible, beastly disease. Thinking of you & my prayers & comfort to you.
Cheers Aussie Angie. _________________ Brother diagnosed with GBMIV Feb 07

| Hi TSMorris - I am so sorry to hear you have been diagnosed with GBMIV. My partner was diagnosed last year with this but is doing OK at the moment. When did you get this latest diagnosis? As Angie said I hope you have good support around you. It must be so hard for you to make these decisions. Also, this forum is great to get info and support from as well. Please know that you have people here that care and are praying and sending you their love. Stay in touch and let us know how you are coping. Love to all. Jen. |

Dear TSmorris
I was just reading over your post again & am wondering how you are going? You had a lot on your plate when you posted earlier this month & some big decisions to make.
We all have hard decisions to make in our lives...I can't begin to imagine just how difficult your journey has been for the past few years with your illness.
I pray you have discovered & chosen a path that is positive for you & your loved ones. I pray you are also looking forward to peace & comfort & perhaps a period of respite from your troubles!
My thoughts & prayers are with you TSmorris.
Cheers, Aussie Angie. _________________ Brother diagnosed with GBMIV Feb 07

Hello TSmorris~
So sorry your cancer has progressed. Please let us know how you are. I can't imaging the decisions you have to make right now.
Do you have family and/or friends that you can be with?
Prayers for you from me!!!!!
