hi just wanted to share ....took my dad to kimmel prostate hospital in nyc today...and what wonderful doctors they have there.this last whole week i thought this was a death sentence,but speaking to the doctors today said to him you r not dying and this is treatable,which is giving my dad great posiitve metal thoughts anyway...and although he does have stage 4,no gleason index yet,does have a lot of mets in his body,they told him to take the treatments and go home and live his life normally and come back every 3 months for updates and x rays and offred him to try some experimental trials as well......so anybody that is diagnosed with this should go to to the kimmel medical center for prostate health in nyc they r truly great people up there..i spoke with Micheal Morris..

Hi lexi,

Sorry to hear about your dad. I'm glad KPH is sending positive thoughts your way and your dad is in such good spirits. I am not familiar with KPH as I live on the West Coast but it sounds like you found a great place for your fathers care. You both are in my prayers. Beth
