If a ct scan is normal is it still possible to have a brain tumor?
There's something seriously wrong with me and the neurologist said that the ct scan came back normal, but now he's doing an MRI. Could the MRI show a tumor that the ct scan didn't?

Hi Lizaaa34, I'm no expert but when my partner was first diagnosed they did a CT scan and his tumour (which was 4cm) showed up very clearly on it. I watch a medical show on TV and they have had quite a few brain tumour patients on and they are normally first diagnosed with a CT scan. I would assume that a tumour would show up on CT scans. But like I said I'm no expert. There are people on here that would probably be able to answer your question in a more professional way. I hope and pray that they don't find anything on your MRI but once done at least it will put your mind at rest. What are your symptoms and when are you getting your MRI done. I hope they find the reason why you are feeling so sick and I hope that it isn't too serious. Good luck and let us know how you go. Thinking of you. Jen.
