Hi, my name is Elison. I am 24, married and mother of a 2 year old boy. I am a student working on my bachelors in accounting. My father in law was diagnosed 8 months ago with stage 4 small cell lung cancer. Two weeks ago the doctors told him they were stopping all treatments and he had anywhere from 2 weeks to 2 months left to live. I am hoping this site will help me and my husband be supportive to my father in law, and will help us deal with our own feelings of grief.

Hi Elison, I hate that you are here because of the reason that you joined. At the same time, welcome to this community. Maybe I am biased, but I have found this community to be very supportive and helpful. I hope you will post your message and your FIL's story below in the Lung Cancer forum.

You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.
