First, thanks to everyone who has responded. It makes things a little lighter when others understand. I went to see her yesterday, and to my joy and surprise she looked better than she has. NOT what I was expecting. She is still very swollen and on oxygen in the ICU, but she had some color back to her face, and her respiratory status has improved enough for now that she does not need the breathing tube. She initially did not want it, but now says she will take it if it comes to that. We laughed and joked yesterday - probably having a little too much fun for the ICU, but laughter is a great medicine. She was fiesty and witty - good to see again. The doctor did say that the lesions on her liver responded some to the chemo, but it is still a day to day process. But we'll take that one good day!! It was a blessing! What a rollercoaster this disease causes. Again, thank you so much and God bless you all for sharing

Thankyou for keeping us updated on yr Aunt's progress.
I'm so very pleased to hear your Aunt is brighter since yr last post. This is great news for you all. You must be buoyed at seeing this improvement (even if she is still in ICU).
I pray the good days & happy times will give you the strength to face this terrible illness & may these happy times bring a renewed spirit & vigour to your Aunt's mind & body.
My prayers & thoughts go out to you all.
