I posted a couple of weeks ago about my aunt diagnosed with SCLC. She is out of ICU (yay), but she is getting very depressed and a little disoriented. I am hoping and praying that is because she has been in the hospital so long and losing track of the days. The doctors placed a nasogastric tube yesterday and when I went today there was fluid that looked like coffee (about three cups or so) in a container that was drained out. What is it? She mentioned that they are concerned about her pancreas now too. Thanks for your help.

Hi again,

Do a search for coffee grounds or something like that on Onctalk.com -- I know I've seen someone post something similar to this, but don't recall the particulars.
