Has anyone ever ahd whole brain radiation with a boost?
I guess what i am really asking does this method of treatment mean my husbands GBM is really agressive and wide spread? he had a partial resection 4 weeks ago with 20% of the tumor left

. he has had 2 weeks of radiation and 1 week of temador. He is tolerating it well ...so far.

My husband is only 43, and a musician...he had all of his long hair cut off today in anticipation of loseing it all...sad...but he actually looks great Smile I know hair isnt important....I just hate for him to have to deal with this disease...I hate it for me too.

Eve, all GBMs are very aggressive Sad. Your husband was fortunate to be able to have a major part of the tumor removed. Now, it is our hope the the radiation therapy will help control if not totally kill the rest. Your husband really need to continue his aggressive treatment.

You and your husband continue to be in my thoughts and prayers.
