a brief background: i am a 37 year old male. i was diagnosed with diverticulitis and it was determined that i also had a hole in my colon which had created an abcess. it was also determined that the cause of the diverticulitis was a tumor in my colon. now keep in mind that when i was diagnosed, i was sitting in the emergency room and the doctor came to me with a colon surgeon who informed me of my condition and then informed me that they wished to perform emergency surgery to remove 4 inches of colon and stick me with a colostomy bag for 3 months. i didn't favor that idea very much and proceded to check myself out of the hospital. yes, you did read correctly. i checked myself out. i had to sign all kinds of paperwork so the hospital would not be liable for anything that happened to me as a result of my checking out. they also informed me that because i had a hole in my colon, if any bile leaked outside of my colon onto my other organs, i would have 3 days to live. they said it was comparable to an appendix exploding.

what i did: i took a deep breath...

diet: i created a strict schedule for treating the problem. starting with my diet, i began with a juice fasting diet supplemented with barlean's greens(3x daily) and amrit kalash(2x daily)for nutritional support. after 3 weeks(time enough for the tear in my colon to heal and ease the strain that solid foods would create) i switched to a 75%alkaline/25%acidic food intake(mostly fresh fruits, vegetables and grains) and completely eliminated meat and dairy products. i also continued the barlean's greens supplement(1x daily) and amrit kalash(2x daily). i also began using psyllium husk(2x daily) which is bulking agent.

the tools: from the very first day there were 5 things that i took religiously. bentonite clay(3x daily), 100% pure aloe vera juice(3x daily), fulvic acid(2x daily), colloidal silver(2x daily) and a parasite removal formula(herbal).

in addition, i used a mini-trampoline which i bounced on 3x daily for 1/2 hours each session. this helps to "shake up" the lymph system and assist in the removal of toxins. perhaps more importantly, i learned how to breathe properly through the diaphragm. when you take a deep breath, breathe throught the stomach and slowly raise it into your chest as you continue to breathe in. try not to strain. this increases the amount of oxygen intake and assists in the elimination of toxic waste. fact: 70% of all toxins removed from the body are done through the breath!! so if you are not breathing properly, it can have adverse affects on the body. those monks in tibet don't spend all day long breathing and meditating for nothing!!

i often muse over the fact that those things were responsible for saving my life. 6 months after i was initially diagnosed, i had a colonoscopy done and the doctor only found a perfectly healthy colon!! no tear...no diverticulitis...no tumor!!

since all of the items i have mentioned are easily found through search engines, i won't bore you with the details of my findings...but they were substantial! this was over a year ago and in retrospect, there may have been a couple of things i might have done differently. i may have included mannatech's proprietary blend of glyconutrients for improved cell communication and used a buffering tablet for balancing out my pH. i went into it rather hardcore and did have some detoxifying effects from the abrupt change in diet. the buffering tablet could help ease the transition while still mainting a good pH level. the use of a chi machine would have helped as well. the use of the mini-trampoline was good but i feel the chi machine would have been more effective and perhaps speeding up the process.

since then and because of what had happened to me, i am currently in the process of obtaining my degree as doctor of naturopathy and holistic nutrition. i ahve also done extensive research into the areas of electromagnetic frequenciees and its effects on diseases, viruses and abnormal bodily conditions.

the bentonite clay should also be of interest to anyone who is undergoing chemotherapy treaments as bentonite is activated when wet and has a powerful irradiation effect on the body.

IMPORTANT NOTE: i do not recommend checking yourself out of a hospital like i did. what i did was dangerous. yes, it worked but only because i took the time and effort to research the subject and treat myself based on research i have been doing for years.

anyone interested or needing assistance with anythin, feel free to get in touch with me at: vaprtrail@gmail.com

if i can help, i promise i will.

keep strong in mind and spirit and never give up...

It is great to hear your story. I have been reading extensively about glyconutrients and have found some really good informaiton about how they work with cancer. I know there is a lot of biased information out there but this site seems to be independent, they don't sell any products and only offer links to sites that do. The site is: http://www.glyconutrientsreference.com. It is great and I strongly recommend everyone check it out.
