Hello, hopefully someone can help to answer my question...I have read that Tarceva has been known to shrink a tumor but can one actually "get better"? My dad is in stage 4 and just given 3-6 months to live. He is on oxygen 24/7, has emphysema, diabetes, heart condition. He is pretty weak and sits most of the day in his chair. Is it possible that Tarceva will make him less weak where he can become more active? I know that the efficacy rate of the medication is very small but I'd like to know if there is a chance that the quality of his remaining days will be heightened.
