Hi everyone,

My name is April, and I'm relatively new here. I am currently fighting Stage IV colon cancer (with metastasis to the liver/lung), and I just turned 25 years old on the 3rd of April. I was initially diagnosed with colon cancer at the age of 19.

I made a video recently about some of the important things I learned about my life. And how my experiences, although difficult, have helped me to become stronger and more determined to survive. I have not given up, and don't plan on it any time soon. I just thought I would share this all of you, and hope that it brings some comfort, and solace.

This is a video of one of many rides I have shared with my horse. It takes place with him and I in dimly lit arena, where we are alone, and able to just find comfort in each other. Dan, my horse, has been a source of great comfort and joy for me. I am a firm believer in the healing power of animals, and their loyal devotion to us. This particular night, I realized that it would be one of our last rides together for a while since I am going to have surgery within the next couple of weeks, and will be out of commission for a while.

I would love feedback if possible, but more importantly, for everyone who watches this to take an important message away from this video about life, and its hinderances.

Thank you everyone, and God Bless!

April

ETA: I'm so dumb, I forgot to post the link to the video! Sorry everyone.

April, you cannot post links yet. I am sorry but I deleted it. I order for a member to post links, the person has to be a member for at least one month and have posted at least 10 significant messages.

I am very sorry about Your colon cancer. It is not fair for someone so young to be having what is often thought of as an "old person's cancer."

You are in my thoughts and prayers.
