i don't know if it is stress, but for the last month, I can't eat very much. My throat closes up and I know I'm going to get sick if I take another bite.
Would this be from the disease or what I am thinking stress.
I'm usually not a "throw up" type of person, and I have only done that once when my husband cooked something that really had an odor. I think spinach.
But I've noticed off and on a feeling of needing to eat but knowing if I do I am going to be sick. I've been trying crackers and they do help, but I don't like crackers.
I'm probably sure it's the stress and the panic attacks I've been having, but just wanted to make sure.
I've lost twenty-five pounds since I first found out in early March. The first eight was from the flu but the rest has just been from not being able to eat.

Here I am answering my own question again. I just took my blood sugar and it is almost 300. I've been on my third day of prednosone and I think that is causing my blood sugar to rise and the cause of my being sick to my stomach.
My blood sugar has never been that high ever.
When I said that I had lost weight, most of it was due to my trying to lose weight, the flu and the sick feeling from stress. I am still eighty pounds overweight so I have more I would like to lose. I have lot's of pain if I eat white sugar, white flour, eggs and white rice. They all cause inflammation in me and when I quit eating them, I lose weight.
Does anyone know if FOLFOX causes blood sugar increases?
Thanks,

Hi milliesmon.
WOW! Blood sugar level of 300!! That is dangerously high. Are you still taking the prednisone? While that high of a BSL could and probably is caused by the prednisone, they cannot rule out diabetes quite yet. I am not sure if FOLFOX has an impact on BSL. Obviously, these are issues for you to discuss with your medical team. _________________ Jim

Yes I do have diabetes but I've never had a blood sugar of 300. Having a panic attack, plus the prednosone, plus eating a dinner high in starches, I'm sure is what did me in.
I've got three days left on the prednosone so I've got to be very careful in what I eat these three days.
I thought I had been told, (I've been told so much) that the FOLFOX can causes my blood sugar to rise.
I need to look into this more and talk to the doctor before starting.
I've heard some people don't feel normal unless their blood sugar is about 200. I would feel sick as mine stays around 114.
Thanks again,
