My sister's diagnosis has been changed from T3 N2, M2 to T3 N3 M2 and her morphine patch upped from 50mg to 75mg. She has finished her first cycle of chemotherapy and apart from a sore throat and ulcers in her mouth she seems to have more energy.

One thing that worries is me is she has started talking more of dying and even asked me if I would take care of her 9 year old son.

She sees to have spurts of energy. Although gets tired easily. She says she is not ready to die yet, as there is so much for her to do.

I am getting married on 1st August and all I so hope she makes it to my wedding.

She seems away with the fairies a bit, is that the morphine effect???

Hi Sam, having one more node with cancer cells is not really that significant of a difference. What is significant is the increase in Morphine. I assume that they increased it either because she is in more pain or because she is struggling more to breath. Neither of those changes are good.

I too hope and pray that your sister is able to attend your wedding. Your emotions must be very mixed right now.
