Hi.

This is a tad personal but after a recent orgasm I noticed a small amount of sticky fluid at the tip of my penis. It definitely wasn't urine. It was tacky and clear (from what I could tell).

The thing is I had a radical prostatectomy a month ago. Isn't this supposed to be impossible?

I can't find anything on the web about this -- only that after RP you'll have no ejaculate.

Could be fluid from Cowper's glands, which are often left in place. However, that fluid is supposed to be slippery.

I also understand that after prostatectomy, fluid from the seminal vesicles is forced into the bladder. This mixes with urine and is later normally expelled. However, maybe the seminal vesicle fluid is what you are seeing. It's high in fructose, which could account for the stickiness.

I don't think there's anything to worry about.
