Just a quick hello.
I'm just poking my head out of my shell for a moment. There are too many wonderful people here not express my gratitude. After a week of reading, I think I have found a place to help me keep at least one foot on the ground. I feel like a raw egg someone just cracked open on a hot Texas asphalt road just to watch the reaction.
Thank you all for sharing.

Dear Brainman,
Thank you for this wonderful forum that can give help and comfort to those of us who find ourselves in uncharted territory.
My husband and father were both diagnosed with cancer last month. My husband's was early stage cancer of the vocal cord. He has begun radiation treatment and the outlook is very optimistic. My father's is another story altogether...stage 4 prostate cancer. I have many concerns about his care and treatment, as I am his closest family member and responsibility for him is ultimately my own.
Thank you, again, for being there during this difficult time. |
