Star is now with her Jesus

    Dear Friends,

Barb ,, my Beautiful Wife of 11 months my hero, soul mate and best friend of 8 yrs was called home today ... at 9am.. her family were with her when her wonderful spirit and soul went to be with her Father in heaven, she said she saw Angels and was so tired, I told her to go with them and one day soon we will be together for eternity,

I want to say my sweet Barbs body had cancer, but it was the complications of that cancer that got to her in the end,, her immune system was fighting a internal abscess that was out of control and also she had blood clots in both legs and a blocked artery, on top of chronic nuoropathy,, her body could not fight them all at once even tho she has being fighting for so long,,,, her Drs said she was an incredible fighter and they had never seen any one like her, they were so amazed she last all these yrs she loved life so much and now she is more alive then ever.

For all our friends on this forum she would want me to say ,,,, NO SURRENDER ,, NEVER EVER GIVE IN ,,, AND FIGHT WITH ALL YOUR MIGHT... AND MAKE SURE YOUR FAMILY KNOW YOU LOVE THEM AND LET GOD BE GOD .....

If you see her name Star pop up on this board, know its me her husband still trying to help those in need ,, all in her memory....

So every one who are still on the journey,,,, keep going,,,

    LOVE...LIVE ...LAUGH.... ALWAYS

It touched my heart when you said she "saw angels and was so tired", and you told her "it's ok to go be with them", I have read so much that people feel bad to be leaving those they love behind, and that it is always good to tell them what you did.

I am sure God welcomed her with loving arms!

I believe this same experience will be coming for me and my family, with regard to my husband.

I know God will give you comfort, and peace and grace, that only HE can give.

    Oh Rob,

I am so sorry - it is making me cry to read that she is gone.
I just feel so glad that I lit the candle for her last night (see my other post titled "as promised") - I prayed that if she had to go it would be peaceful and soon.
One of my biggest fears when I found I had cancer was that it would be a slow and painful decent into a coma. Barb did not have that - it was fairly quick - I am so glad you had your trip to see Eagles and that she saw angels....God bless you for being there for her.

We must all extract promises from each other to have family members update for us if we get worse, as Rob did for Barb. I do wonder what happens to some of our members who just stop posting....

Jesus is probably smiling though...what joy Barb will bring - I still have some lovely private messages she sent to me trying to encourage me with my food choices. What a special person...

Sympathy for you and her family

Barb was such an inspiration to my husband and me. I know she is in a much better place and completely pain free. She will be missed by so many in this forum.

    Take care!
