    help with my cancer

    Hi Everybody,

Few months ago I was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. I started chemotherapy immediately but I felt terrible pain and was much tiered. The doctors changed my chemo but at the same time, I decided to take a supplement that my friend takes for sleep disorders (Gene-Eden?) so I could be less tiered and do some stuff at home.
Now 4 weeks after I finished with the new chemo I feel much better. I am not sure whether the supplement has something to do with it, but I feel great so I keep taking it. My doctor said that my leukocytes count is close to normal now, and he thinks that this looks like a pretty fast recovery.

    Could this supplement help?

    thanks,
    Marcia

There is no way to know if that supplement helped. (after all, it is something for sleep disorders, right?) There are so many different supplements that people believe to be the reason why they get better, but I will have to lean towards them changing they type of chemo you got.

When I was taking chemo, my doctor prescribed a supper vitamin used mainly for people recovering from a organ transplant or other illness that depleted their immunity. You might ask your own medical team for their advice.
