I have had Basal Cell Carcinoma for ten years. I was misdiagnosed and the dermatologist failed to do a biopsy, because he was positive it was a different skin disease. Finally after ten years a doctor refused to believe the dermatologist diagnosis and did a biopsy. Unfortunately by then the cancer had spread over 60% of my scalp and small amounts to my face. I have been through three MOHS procedures and five surgeries. I am probably facing the same amount of those procedures and then a few minor ones. Then they should have most of it removed.
Jerry, not a whole lot of users on this forum have had BCC; most of us have melanoma .... I believe you have just grounds for legal recourse but also realize that is not the most operative issue at hand for you right now.....Hang in there and wishing you the best,
