    Garlic and peppers

I am having a recurrence of my 2009 ovarian cancer. In September 2010, after a trip to the emergency room because of severe pain in the bowel, I had a CT scan that showed cancer specks all over the bowel and up on the liver. I was told that the reason I was in so much pain was because the bowel had pretty much adhered to itself where the specks appeared and was all but not functioning. I was told that my only hope was chemo.

Long story short: I happen to be listening to a talk radio show during that same time period. Someone called in and said people he knew were having luck with their cancers by eating habanero peppers and garlic daily. It seems, that garlic is a natural cancer killer. But cancer cells have a coating around them called "fibrin" that must be dissolved first so that the garlic can get in and kill the cancer. It was also mentioned that people that have a really hard time eating peppers can substitute with grated ginger.
In my experience, on the day I was listening to this conversation, I did have garlic in the house, and I immediately diced up a couple of cloves and ate them. At this point, I had been really sick for several days and was just getting by on pain medication. So you can imagine my surprise when the next morning I awoke and as soon as I opened my eyes I knew I felt better. I found the peppers that next day and since then, I (daily) dice one pepper and 2 cloves of garlic and two pads of butter on a piece of bread to make a half sandwich and just eat it.

As a result, here it is late February 2011 and I continue to feel better. My bowel is acting more normally and I look, act and feel good.

I am following a regimen researched and developed by a Dr. Revici. A man named Kelley Eidem worked with Dr. Revici (google his name and the word cancer) where he outlines a recipe that he says helped him and others with their cancers by using ingredients that can be purchased at most local grocery / health food stores.

Lastly I'll say this about garlic. Garlic has anti-viral, anti-bacterial, anti-fungal, and anti-parasitical properties. It doesn't matter what or where you have your cancer - eat enough, and it will kill it!

hmmm peppers can be rough on those with sensitive stomach and not too good for people that get nauseated and are doing treatments-throwing up peppers could be awfull harsh on the esophagus-that might be good for a preventative and maybe it can kill of cancer but be carefull to the ones with sensitive ulcerated stomachs oh and on the other end not too good for ulcertive colitis or hemmaroids. ouch! but I have heard good things about them. and garlic is good for many things -I wish you luck with your recovery. keep us posted and let us know in time if its still working for you.

Interesting that this provided you some relief. My mother had small intestine problems, but that was 25 years ago and they over cooked her during strip radiation for her spreading ovarian cancer.

I do hope you are continuing with the chemo and letting your oncologist know what you are doing with the peppers and garlic. Always keep your doctor aware of any supplements too.

Despite any claims to the contrary, there is no clinical evidence that garlic kills cancer.

    Good luck

    Hi bluemoontwo

Just out of curiosity did you get a biopsy to prove that the cancer had come back? A CT scan in itself is not good enough. Regardless I am happy you are feeling better.

    Good Luck

    Hardly.

Not to be a "naysayer" - it may help and who knows how much - but saying "it will kill cancer no matter what!" is blatantly foolish and obviously wrong. Pls think before posting such irresponsible things.

I can bet itwill keep alot of people at bay and keep bugs and deer away-thats a fact-one never knows how complicated or how simple a cure may be.but I myself dont believe that a natural herb is strong enough to tackle such a monster. it could be a deterent maybe for pre cancerous cells, but not a cure-garlic to my knoweledge is mainly used for controling slightly elevated b.p. asthma atheletes foot bacterial infections constipation, diahrea, high cholesterol its warned that people withdigestive tract problems should not use it can make flareups worse chronic garlic use or excessive use may lead to decreased production of hemoglobin (a compound found in red blood cells) can also cause hypothyroidism in some people. side effects from too much garlic can be dizziness, mouth ,throat, stomach irritation, nausea, skin rashes, chest tighness, sweating, and vomiting, and is advised that you call a doctor if you have any of these reactions. and its a healthy thing to eat and it may have other properties of value to health as well. TOO much of anything may kill a person.. then the cancer will die because its source of food has died.-so the pusher of that theory is not entirely lying so thats how they get away with their so called "facts" dont fall prey to everything you read-be cautious, think it out ,be sensible and research facts from well known sources. its scarey that so many people sell products because of greed for money do they really care? .I believe in all types of practices and medicines...certain herbals can be helpfull but only .....to a point and depending on the severity of the problems. ---like Bill s. said please be carefull what you post this is a serious forum try not to be misleading-Im sure you didnt mean it the way it came across. keep us posted got this info from The complete guide to herbal medicine John Hopkins University school of Medicine.
