    Polyp removed. Now what?

I'm 23 years old. I've posted on here before. I had symptoms. Bleeding, bowel changes, gas, all the symptoms of CRC.

I recently had a colonoscopy. Everything was perfectly normal, except the found one small, 4mm polyp. The polyp was completely removed.

I just got the pathology back and it was hyperplastic and non pre-cancerous. They told me that because of this I don't need to come back until age 50. I'm going to go back earlier than 50 though because of the rates increasing in younger people.

Other than that, should I do anything else? Is it good advice not to go back until 50 because the polyp was hyperplastic?
