Radio Frequency...beating the big 'C'

My daughter Nicky has just had treatment for a liver tumour. On Thursday, 01 March she had an operation using Radio Frequency to destroy the tumour by burning it from the centre outwards. It was a success.

Yesterday, she was discharged from hospital.

She'll have a few more days to recover before she is off with her family skiing. They depart on Friday.

This treatment is truly amazing when one considers you are dealing with a liver tumour.

May this and other technologies help control and beat cancer.

paul- yes it is a great thing and Im glad they were able to do that for your daughter.
unfortunately it can only be done with certain tumors certain sizes and certain locations- but it does work well- mom when she had her liver tumor removed- they were able to zap a few of the smaller ones. Hope she is able to do her ski trip are they saying she doesnt need any follow up chemo? If so they may be waiting untill she gets her trip in.
