    Sleep Freely Mom

    Karla“Nani”, 48-

April 17th, 2012 my mother lost her 8 year battle with lung cancer.

In 2005 my mom was diagnosed with Stage 4 lung cancer. She was determined and strong through the entire illness. Eight years later even though she was still fighting, her little body could no longer go on. She fought until she could fight no longer.

On April 16th, 2012 my mom celebrated her 26th wedding anniversary with her family and friends around her at the Hospice of Spokane.

April 17th, 2012 exactly one year after the death of her father, my mom took her last breath.

I'm still feel like she is going to call me or walk in the door any moment. I still feel like I'm dreaming. I'm not suppose to lose my mom at 25 years old. I need her still.

My father was diagnosed with cancer today.

I've been reading these threads and crying my eyes out. These past couple of days have been really hard for me already. Your pain must be unimaginable.

Everything seems so meaningless and unfair.

    My thoughts are with you.
