Well, I didn't know exactly where to go so I came here.
Yesterday I found a 1/4 to 1/2 inch long bump in my armpit, I assumed it was a boyle or an infected hair, so I squeezed it, and ALOT of puss came out, and something that looked like a tiny shrivled pea, then some clear yellowey puss.
Since then it has gone down ALOT, and is barely there, but is kinda hard. My mom said it was possible for it to be a cancer type bump, somthing about cancer anyways... so I was woundering if anyone could fill me in?
I am a sixteen year old male if that makes any difference.
Hi! I am no doctor, but it sounds like you're describing an abscess. The tiny shriveled thing could have been wax. That's what came out in my underarm abscess (along with the disgusting stuff you described). Still, you want to have a doctor look at it. If it was an abscess it still may need to be further cleaned out or drained, and the doctor might put you on an antibiootic. An abscess is an infection that grows and festers under the skin. The doctor, upon physical exam, is the best one to tell you what it was. I think there are many more benign things that it may be, rather than cancer. Good luck, happy healing, keep it clean until you see the doc.
