Good report from my scans and much improved liver enzymes

Got a good report from my PET/CT scans I had on Thursday. One of my spots (the one on my left ovary) is no longer visible on either scan and the other two spots (the one behind my uterus and the one on my right ovary) have shown excellent "shrinkage" (@ 40% after 4 treatments). No new spots were reported so this is a happy day!!!!!! My liver enzymes have been consistently getting more and more elevated (they had gotten really high after treatment #4) and I thought I was going to have to take a 2-week break from chemo. I had accupunture this past Wednesday and my accupunturist (who is also an ENT) quickly picked up on my liver stagnation and really focused my session on that. Today, my liver enzymes had DRAMATICALLY dropped (still higher than normal but much, much better) so I was able to get # 5 today. All in all a great day!!!!! Try to find and enjoy the good when we can b/c things can change so quickly when it comes to late stage cancers!!!!!! Prayers to you all!!!!

So delighted that the scans were so positive. The drugs are doing their job. Acupuncture is something we have not tried. You have given me something to consider if I can convince my son to try it for the back pain not related to cancer----at least we don't think it is. Rejoicing in your good news and prayers that it only gets better and better.
