Sorry, lesion is 2 cms across and sits 4mm above normal skin(like a little volcano).
Im not actually sure how deep they had to go for biopsy.
It bled badly today but thankfully stitches are still intact, just another one of the annoying symptoms.

No need to apologize, smiler. It is just one of those "details" that a lot of patients do not ask about but are fundamental in staging a cancerous growth. Good luck and we are always here for you.

Had biopsy results today, they read as inconclusive, more antibiotics and another appointment in 2 weeks time.Consultant mentioned spindle cells,if anybody knows anything about spindle cells Id be glad of any info.
OK, how do I explain spindle cells? They are a type of neurons (nerve cells). However, I am not sure how they are related to skin cancers. Maybe the biopsy just cut out some nerve cells that are close to the skin. That is just my guess. You might want to ask your medical team what implications this has for you.
Best wishes.

Hi-
I have been following your story. I'm sorry about all the wait and see, stuff- but obviously they think this is best. You still sound really concern and worried that it's not just a skin disease or disorder....
Maybe keep a note book handy and write all questions- concerns in there, to take to the Dr's...and write the answers in.
Take Care till then
