    Where to buy affordable Viagra?

    Hi:

I'm new here, I just had my prostate removed. And found out that even though the viagra is prescribed by my dr. for medicinal purposes (i.e. not recreational) my insurance co only covers 8 pills (about 12-20 short of what the dr. prescribed) for the month.
So I'm paying for this out of pocket.

Does anyone know of a cheap (and safe) way to buy this. My dr. mentioned that in Canada they have a generic form of the drug which is much cheaper.

    TIA
I hope to be posting more.

I'm also new to this forum.

The generic is called "Silfenafil Citrate" - it is exactly the same active ingredient in Viagra. the generic form is available in almost all nations other than the good ole USA. I use a reputable Canadian mail order pharmacy and the tablets are usually shipped from India.

You WILL need a prescription from your physician, and be sure that he/she states "generic substitution allowed". You'll be able to save quite a bit by ordering in quantity so ask your physician to write the prescription for a 3 month supply and specify the daily dosage.

Note that some prescription orders coming to you by mail from outside the US will get caught and seized by US Customs, so order well in advance of your needs. The supplier WILL re-ship at no cost to you but they usually make you wait 3 weeks before re-shipping.

For anyone starting to use Viagra or similar, be aware that some men do not tolerate large doses very well, and can sometimes experience severe side issues.

It would be best to start with a small dose (25 size), or if you have the larger 100 size pills, cut them into 4 to make sure there's no adverse reaction to begin with. This is usually a more economical way as well.

There are (appropriate) rules against posting links here. I use

You DO have to exercise some caution when ordering outside the US - the FDA site has some specific non-US mfgrs to avoid. The Canadian government does a decent job of qualifying pharmacies from what I have read. All I can say is that I have used "canadadrugpharmacy" for several years when my medicare prescription drug plan runs out and I have been happy with their product and service.

    Wow!

The drugs are sent from India????

Huge red flag.....please go to the website of these 'pharmacies' and check out their liability or lack thereof.

As a Canadian, I know that if my drugs were sent via India/the pharmacy had NO liability for it's products, I'd not be using them.

Please be very careful about the quality of your drugs, prescription or not.

Jean - many times the drugs are sent from Canada, but with the Canadian mail order pharmacies they also ship from the Carribean, Great Britain, India (in the case of the Cooper brand Silfenadil Sulfate - Cooper is an Indian company), etc - wherever the licensed product originates.

The US FDA has specifically named several foreign drug manufacturers to avoid due to failing inspections, etc. ANYONE in the US using a non US mail order facility - even a licensed Canadian pharmacy - should stay current on the US FDA findings.

    The Canadian Drugstore

A store here in Tampa FL called The Canadian Drugstore. They've been in business for 8 years in Florida and have 3 storefront offices but ship anywhere in the US. You can return anything you have a problem with for a refund. You do need a prescription, which is more secure than these online "no RX needed" placed. Very nice people. Also, you will do business with the same person every time, not some call center in India. NO PHONE NUMBERS PLEASE. THANK YOU.
