Drivers who pass me on a two lane highway because I'm obviously not driving fast enough by driving the speed limit, and then I meet again them up ahead because they got caught by the red light!

Uh, don't look like got very far, my friend! :P

    Hi

People who come on this forum and say that cancer does not kill people, its the chemo that does it

Also people that say that there is a conspiracy to keep alternative cures out of the limelight...... the conspiracy is of course always blamed on 'Big Pharma'

Has this one been said? Not understanding the person at a drive-up speaker -- either because of the static, my hearing, or their accent. Then again, I have the same issue with my sweet as apple pie immigrant DIL too. At least she repeats herself until I understand and a food order isn't hinging on the communication!

I think this ties into the rude cashier thing. Buying online prevents many shopping nightmares for me!

I'm in agreement with BOTH of Chemoman's comments. Arrrghhhhh. Some of that gets mighty old, doesn't it? (Bear in mind that I'm one who questions EVERYTHING. Hmmm... I'd wager that I'M one of our old oncologist's pet peeves. )

Waiting in line for what seems to be hours to buy something only to find out when you finally get to the front of the line that they just sold the last one . Has happened to me twice... both times for Christmas presents.

Okay, people who feel as though they are entitled to everything.

That may need some explaining, but for example, I was at the beach and I went down to an area where there is NO ONE that you can see on either side of me. I let the 2 dogs off leash to play and was watching them and babysitting two girls.

Out of no where, a family comes up to me and literally sets their blanket right next to our stuff (keep in mind, there is no one you can see on either side of the beach, plenty of space). Then, the mom told me to control one of my dogs because her kid was scared of dogs. what the heck? She did not need to come where i was, right next to me, and tell me to control my dog! (who was just licking her kid's elbow!) I went to the secluded area so the dogs wouldn't bother anyone!

    Grrrr, frustrates me!

and same type of person, my neighbor leaves notes on my car complaining on how I am parking in front of her house (its the public street and really, its in front of my house) and that she will call the police because it was parked there for 3 days so therefore it must be abandoned! She leaves this note even when I park there for 1 night!

I could go on for pages on this. IMO we live in an extremely and increasingly rude/idiotic society.

Anyway - some of these are likely repeats but:

    Office related:
Playing radio too loud (which is to say you can hear it from more than 2 ft away)
Dirtying up the break room (esp the fridge) and not cleaning up after yourself
Not doing one's fair share re. making a new pot of coffee and/or cleaning out the coffee maker
Pen-clicking, finger/foot tapping, or other mindlessly repetitive noises either in one's cube or esp in mtgs
    Talking and/or fidgeting during mtgs
Talking loudly in cube or other office areas other than break area

    Traffic related:
    Not using signals
    Cutting people off
Driving slow in the left-most lanes
Not actually stopping at stop signs (just pausing or blowing thru it)
Not slowing down as noted in school zones
Zipping in and out of lanes
Blasting one's so-called "music" so loud it can be heard a block or more away
I would add yapping/texting on the cell phone, but that blows by "pet peeve" into "should be shot for such massive stupidity" turf

    General:
Yapping/texting on cell phones when in the company of others - unbelievably rude
Taking very young children (ie those too young to be expected to know how to behave) to restaurants/church/movies/ad nauseum
Having children who ARE old enough to understand how to behave but they misbehave and not quickly and firmly dealing w/it
Litterers. (esp tossing cig butts everywhere - gross)
People who do that obnoxious high-pitched "WOOOOOOOO" noise at ball games/concerts/basically anywhere as part of an audience
Those ads that flit across the TV screen WHILE THE SHOW IS GOING ON.......I've almost stopped watching TV because of this idiocy
Squeezing the credits for a show to the side to give us yet another advertisement - hey some of us actually DO want to read those and see who played a role
    Hypersensitive politically correct nazis
    Hypocrites

(OK actually those last 2 also blow by the mere "pet peeve" area...)

My boyfriend who stays up watching TV after I fall asleep (that's not the problem, I understand I get tired easier than him and tend to fall asleep earlier) then when the TV hits a commercial and goes louder and wakes me up from a sound sleep and I can't get back to sleep....HE goes to sleep in a heartbeatl

People who ride my bumper in traffic, and get irked because I go the speed limit.

Rude customer service in any kind of business--I am a believer in courteous service without attitude.

Being in a setting where there is a row of seats, and the person seated in front of me turns around a lot, blocking my view of the platform or stage.

Businesses which try to weasel out of warranties.

I can't stand rudeness. I used to live in a place where people would ignore you if you said Hi, I hated that.

yes rude people really get my goat as well!!! even more so when its a nurse! The people they are dealing with have problems already and don't need to deal with someone with a bad attitude on top of it!
