Why is this forum in the admin group if it can be viewed by everyone?

Yikes Chemoman ---I didn't see that ad. I don't see many ads. Wonder if its different depending on where you live. That might not make sense.

Maybe my pop-up blocker filters all of that stuff out.

    Hi pbj11

an adblocker will do it...the ads are not popups so I doubt a popup blocker would do the trick. I don't block ads as they are a source of revenue for the company, I click on the cancer ads to see if they are legit hence my post recently about the ultimate cancer breakthrough site. Most are semi legit and are pushing herbs and juices which are probably harmless, there are a few looking for sign ups to clinical trials and stop smoking sites as well as others. Looking at the top of the page as I type I see one on prostate biopsy another stop smoking site and a new stem cell treatment in Germany.

I think its worthwhile clicking on a few every now and then, the revenue keeps the site on line and it enables us to vet which ads get through. My opinion only but

Sorry guys. I created the forum but did not set the privileges although of all the admin forums this would be the one that is least confidential (like the PM spam one).

Thanks Jim. I was just curious and glad that you responded to both issues. I so appreciate your devotion!
Husband diagnosed with NSCLC Stage IV in 3/2005. Fought & lived over 2 1/2 years with multiple lines of treatment.

    Post describing our journey: http://cancerforums.net/viewtopic.ph...er=asc&start=0

Left my embrace to live with our Heavenly Father in October of 2007 and now breathes with ease forever. I will miss this gentle, giving soul with the easy smile for the rest of my days, but have faith we will be together again. He's just getting a little break from me!
