Thanks much, ChemoMan, for pointing those out. I should have done some personal research on whether her list is all beneficial before posting it to the forum.

I would recomend looking up graviola and flaxseeds.Upon my wifes 1st surgery for gbm i started her on fruit shakes of 2 tspn graviola and 2tspn of flaxseeds in a blender with a banana and pure fruit juice. After all her radiation and chemo she stopped taking it.The original tumor is nearly gone but now she has another that was just removed, but in a different area.

Monk, when I looked up graviola the first thing I found was this, on WebMD:

"Graviola is UNSAFE. It can kill nerve cells in the brain and other parts of the body. It may cause movement disorders similar to Parkinson’s disease."

So based on that, it sounds like it does cross the blood brain barrier but folks with brain cancer might be better off without it...

I'm going to close this old thread now, but leave it up for reference purposes. As a note to people reading it later, my sister halted treatment at about the time I posted the thread, and lived for slightly over two months beyond that.
