Waiting for first post to show

Hello... sorry if I am being impatient. I made my first post on the "worried about possible cancer" forum, I think over an hour ago. I understand it may have to be moderated before appearing but just wondered if I should wait a bit before going to bed or leave it till morning to see if it's there.

Sometimes our filter puts posts into moderation. Yes you are being very impatient. Our large moderation team are volunteers who have cancer or loved ones that do and they come to the forum as they are able.

To any new users who experience this issue,

All posts from newbies go into moderation. They need to be approved by a moderator before you can see them.

Have patience as your post is there you just can't see it. Resist the temptation the do another post as that will also go into moderation. A mod will get around to it usually within 24 hours and probably a lot less.
