Cloning has as yet only been done completely with animals. Dolly the sheep is a famous example, but I have read about people having their late pets cloned. The animals don't look like their parent, and they don't have the personalities of their parent.

Clones of human embryos have been made, but the embryos have never been developed into humans. If they were, it would be a newborn human. Because the newborn human would have only one parent, it would be likely to have a range of health problems, as the cloned animals have had.
