    Alyssa

Our hearts are heavy as we say goodbye to this little Angel. May she be reunited with her sister Rebecca. I think we have all been inspired by the courage and grace of this little one. Below you will find a link to the the song that she used to listen to when she thought of her sister. it's call "Voice of an Angel" Her friend sang it at her funeral and there was not a dry eye in the house. Rest in Peace Alyssa. We will hold you in our hearts.

Thanks for posting an update Irish. That picture sure brings it home....such a beautiful young girl...so unfair.

I'm her short time on the board she went from being terrified to acceptance and seeing the good of every day. She showed grace, courage and strength that has inspired me.

I believe she has rejoined with her sister and she is happy in heaven.
This dark night shall end and the sun will rise again...

    For Alyssa:

You were a precious gift, our joy, our dreams.
    You were a sparkle through the darkness;
Our hope for a brighter tomorrow.
You warmed our hearts, gave light to our minds, and beauty to our spirits.
We gave you our love, wrapped you in our care, caressed you with our smiles.
    Now you are gone.
    We grieve.
    We miss you so much.
The loving memories of you will keep you forever close to us - in our hearts, our thoughts, our souls. . . .

I know that my two daughters are together in heaven......love you sweethearts...Mom

    Motheroffour,

What a lovely tribute to Alyssa. I know she is still with you in so many ways and always will be. Her stuggle is over and yours is just beginning. We share your loss but can't even begin to fathom your pain. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. God bless.

Tis spring; come out to ramble
    The hilly brakes around,
    For under thorn and bramble
    About the hollow ground
    The primroses are found.

    And there's the windflower chilly
With all the winds at play,
    And there's the Lenten lily
That has not long to stay
    And dies on Easter day.

And since till girls go maying
    You find the primrose still,
    And find the windflower playing
    With every wind at will,
    But not the daffodil,

    Bring baskets now, and sally
    Upon the spring's array,
And bear from hill and valley
    The daffodil away
    That dies on Easter day.

Rest In Peace Alyssa, you will always, always be in my heart!
