Shoot kid the colonoscopy was the easiest part of all my "experiences". Yeah had a few hours of pooping but everybody poops. They got me into a room with three pretty little gals and set me up, knocked me out before the ugly doctor even got there, woke up and was on my way home eating good food in short order. The main thing is the knowing, once you get it done, you should know way more and either have nothing to worry about or you came back here to ask questions.......

We have lost count of the number of them that hubby has had. One every two years for as long as I have known him and before. We have been married 23 years. Just do it. For all your stress, you will live through it. The stress will kill you before anything else does.

And don't overlook the need to get treatment for your extreme anxiety, if that is not something you are already doing.
    Best of luck.
