Dad passed away - The beginning of a new life

My beloved father peacefully passed away last Wednesday. I would like to share that the week before he went, we believe that God provided healing. His ascites completely subsided and he was barely taking any morphine for pain. It was just a shame that he was not able to eat as much as he wanted to and that his body grew really weak. It's such a hard loss because dad's only 58 but to God be the glory for giving us an amount of time that not everybody with pancreatic cancer is given. I'm happy that he's now in a place where there is no more pain and suffering.

Dad is my greatest hero. He fought for two and a half years. For most of that time, he was able to live a normal life despite the sickness. I hope that his battle will inspire other cancer patients to live life to the fullest and to never give up until the very end. If there is anything I could do to help those who are on the same journey, please do not hesitate to ask me anything.

I love you so much dad!

I know I haven't posted on this forum for a long time but I know that there are people who have kept our family in their prayers. My sincerest thanks to all of you!

When my dad passed away from cancer I was so sad that I didn't have more time with him but he suffered for the last year I was also so relieved that he was no longer in pain and was finally at peace. My faith tells me that I will be reunited with him so it helps to know my time with him isn't really over. My thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family.
