    UPDATED 12/10/18: Graft-Versus-Host-Disease (GvHD) links

This is a sticky for links to research and trials relating to the control of Graft-Versus-Host-Disease (GvHD) which is observed in about 50% of Allogeneic (unrelated donor) stem cell transplants. These issues are not normally seen in autologous (one's own stem cells) transplants, since one's own immune system does not attack the body.

The clinical trial that I am currently in: https://moffitt.org/clinical-trials-...l-trial-17071/

All known GvHD trials as of 12/16: https://clinicaltrials.gov/ct2/resul...&Search=Search

News regarding the use of Ibrutinib (a Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia drug) for control of GvHD (now approved in the US) : http://www.oncologytube.com/video/allogeneic-transplants-from-hla-mismatched-unrelated-donors-using-total-lymphoid-irradiation-and-antithymocyte-globulin-conditioning/10000510

    EDIT 11/11-18 From BMTinfonet.org regarding gut-related cGvHD:

EDIT 12/10/18 Again from BMTinfonet.org/ regarding skin-related GvHD:

It may sound as though there is little or no relief from GvHD issues, but new drugs, new drug applications and new techniques are appearing on a regular basis.

The folks at Mt. Sinai in NYC are working on an early GvHD detection algorithm. It sounds like it could prove promising:
