IMRT vs Brachytherapy; has anyone had just IMRT or just Brachytherapy?

My Gleason score is 7 (4+3) 1 core 20%, 1 core 10%, and 8 (4+4) 1 core @< 5%, I've started IMRT and in 3rd week of 5 weeks @ 5 days/week...Dr. wants to do Brachytherapy, I guess LDR because he said seeding. Anyway I'm having second thoughts on Brachytherapy...anyone out there had only IMRT with a Gleason 8, or just Brachytherapy...if just IMRT was it 5 weeks or 8 weeks of treatment? Would appreciate any thoughts from you who have under gone these treatments.
    Thank You

Surgeon was Dr. Matthew Tollefson, who I highly recommend.
Final pathology shows tumor confined to prostate.

1.0 x 0.6 x 0.6 cm mass involving right posterior inferior, right posterior apex & left
mid posterior prostate. Right posterior apex margin involved by tumor over 0.2 cm length,
    doctor says this is insignificant.
Prostate 98 grams, tumor 2 grams.

    Seven annual post-op exams 2012 through 2018: PSA <0.1

NOTE: ED caused by BPH, not the surgery.
