    He said 10 times every day, dont know how high yet, will see him today again for a ct scan plan???
    will let you know later, and yes he said the most common side effect will be fatigue, what will be alright as i sleep at the moment around 10 hours anyway after stopping steroids lol.
    Oct 15 diagnosed NSCLC stage IV , Mets in lymph nodes,
    Chemo 6 months, Tumour didn't grow but lymph nodes
    New Chemo 4 months, not working, new spot 4mm in Liver
    Aug 16, start Opdivo ,immune therapy
    CT Nov 16 , Tumor shrank, Lymph nodes shrank
    CT Jan 17, Tumor all the same, Lymph nodes on Neck and under arm back to normal, in Lung and Chest a bit smaller
    July 17, 2x3 cm Brain Tumor found, removed in Surgery, now radiation on spot,still on Nivu
    Fingers crossed

    Had Ct today, he said after he get the result they decide which dose radiation i will get. Then we did make my mask! Was a bit scary, but alright.
    Radiation will start on September 11.
    Oct 15 diagnosed NSCLC stage IV , Mets in lymph nodes,
    Chemo 6 months, Tumour didn't grow but lymph nodes
    New Chemo 4 months, not working, new spot 4mm in Liver
    Aug 16, start Opdivo ,immune therapy
    CT Nov 16 , Tumor shrank, Lymph nodes shrank
    CT Jan 17, Tumor all the same, Lymph nodes on Neck and under arm back to normal, in Lung and Chest a bit smaller
    July 17, 2x3 cm Brain Tumor found, removed in Surgery, now radiation on spot,still on Nivu

    Thanks or updating up us. I know, the mask does sound scary but I know you got this. Big hugs!
    Wife to husband with squamous lung cancer stage 3 b
    dx - April 20/14
    tx started May 20/14 - radiation and chemo
    June 23 - chemo finished
    June 24 - tumor 1/3 the original size
    July 4 - radiation finished
    July 8 - PET scan shows tumor almost gone, lymph nodes back to normal
    Married July 19/14
    Sept 9/14 - repeat can shows tumor continues to shrink more, no new spots. New coughing and pain due to chest infection or side effect of radiation.
    Sept 19/14 - not infection but pneumonitis, place on dex for 4 weeks
    Oct 22/14 - now off of dex and facing even more symptoms of withdrawal
    Dec 16/14 - pretty much nothing left but a scar
    April 7/15 - ditto scan and screw you stats
    Oct 6/15 - more scarring but still cancer still gone
    Feb 2016 -scan the same
    Aug 2016 - more of the same
    Aug 2017 - and ditto

    Hi All!
    Had my first radiation today, didn't remember the mask so tight lol, but was okay. Now i hope i don't get any bad side effects.

    Probably the side effects from radiation to the brain and lungs can be somewhat different but the big one for me was tiredness but it could of been alot worse so didn't let it get me down. Ir is finally going away. I don' t think I would like the mask either but glad you got through it. What has helped me get through everything, whether it' s tests or treatments is just letting my mind wander to somewhere else until the test or treatment is over. I'll be counting the treatments with you until there over, 10 Right?

    Yes just 10 im lucky! Thanks. So far im alright and i had a good sleep, 11 hours wow.
    This afternoon i go to round 3. And the mask is not nice but at the end its only a few minutes.
    Wish you all a good day with no pain and some sunshine. We get 31 degree Celsius today Springtime lol

    Surprise,surprise i had my last radiation yesterday, as the doc said 5 would be enough!!! Im happy with this. So just back to normal now every fortnight Nivu and a Ct in october.

    I'm happy for you, you deserve a break. Getting back to normal is GOOD.
