Tamara L. Davis, 53, passed away September 17th, 2016, following a courageous and odds-defying 22 month battle with Pancreatic Cancer. She was born June 7th, 1963 in Ankara, Turkey, the daughter of Clayton and Donna (Ford) Davis. Following her graduation from General McLane High School in 1981 she was a deli manager at the Edinboro Giant Eagle, and later a front desk clerk for the historic Rogers Hotel in Waxahachie Texas. She was a devoted mother and grandmother, a loyal friend, and an animal lover to her core. She enjoyed gardening, reading and spending time with her family.

Survivors include her daughter, Erica Bickel, son-in-law Alan Bickel, son Andrew Ropp, daughter-in-law Tamara Ropp, as well as her beloved granddaughter Amelia Bickel. She also leaves behind her father Clayton, three brothers, Mark, Adam and Daniel, and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

In keeping with her wishes, there will be no funeral services. In lieu of gifts or flowers, donations to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, or to your local no-kill shelter would be most fitting to her memory.
