    Wishing everyone seasons greetings

The time has come around again for us to depart the U.K. For hopefully snowier climes.
Despite all the odds we are ready to depart early tomorrow for our 900 mile drive under the channel, through France, past Geneva back into France to Ste For.

May Anne and I wish you all, everyone of you colleagues, friends and every member and visitor the happiest Christmas possible and may the New Year bring success, hope, perseverance, fortitude and the two most miraculous words, Cured and or NED.
I shall complete my annual little toil to the cross at the top of L' Arpettaz, have a Few words with my maker and say a few words in support of all of you.
I shall see you all at some future date in January or early February.
My nest wishes to you all.
    Barry

Barry, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you, Anne and your entire family. May the slopes be all you want them to be but not more than you can manage.

We are feeling blessed here, despite looking at another round of chemo in the first half of the new year. The renovations are complete except for the master bath which will be completed in January and our former home closed yesterday so we are done with that expense. It is great when a plan actually works out despite all the bumps and turns in the road! I am hoping for exactly that from the CVP we are planning for in March or April.

Again, to you and yours and everyone here who make such a meaningful contribution to the well being of others on a daily basis, Happy Holidays!

    Lisa,
    Thanks love,
    K my dear friend,
im saddened to hear another round of chemo is in the offing, may it prove to be more than successful.
What amazes me is we seem to overcome one hurdle ( in your case the houses) and yet another hurdle appears, may this one be smaller that previous and easily stepped over.
My heartfelt and sincere best wishes for the greatest outcome.

Although so far I'm feeling good, thoroughly enjoy driving and generally always relaxed when driving I'm sure I'll be wrecked at the other end.
Hence the stop over tonight in Annecy with wonderful views across the Lac.
Anne used to spell me on long journeys, alas this is not possible this time, however we have our UK family journeying with us so if needed our daughter Emma will take a spell at the wheel and I shall hop in with Richard and the kids.
Forgot go mention they are bringing their crockapoo Henry with them, a 8kg ball of furry fun. This should be amusing as he's never seen snow.
Our Dubai family should already be there when we arrive and I know they have a big do planned for our belated 50th anniversary, Giles let that slip so it will be standing room only inside and out as all, I mean all the instructors, pisteurs and lift guys, friends are coming.
I ain't doing the washing up for sure.
    See you soon.
